Mark Lowe is a veteran businessman with an extensive background in financial management, systems administration, human resources, marketing, and promotion. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco. In a diverse career spanning more than thirty years, Lowe has worked for small non-profit organizations such as the California School of Professional Psychology and a number of large corporations including Montgomery Ward, International Paper, Time-Warner, and Con-Agra Foods. In early 2003, he will launch a new business, Market Gourmet, Inc., in Venice, California.

Lowe is also an avid traveler and armchair geographer. His travels have taken him to forty-nine states in this country and four Canadian provinces. Lowe has also journeyed to numerous destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brazil, and Spain. Although he considers himself to be a San Franciscan, it can be said that he left his heart in Barcelona. He is living presently in West Hollywood, California.
