Paul Mahre is an accomplished Northwest skier, growing up on the slopes of a Washington ski resort. Mahre was named to the US Ski Team in 1983 and was a member of the team for five years. He raced on the US Pro Ski Tour from 1998 through 1991. Since retiring from competition he remains active in the sport and has coached various race teams and worked at some of the nation's premiere ski hills. Currently he serves as an International Ski Federation Technical Delegate, officiating at numerous races and events. Mahre holds a degree in German literature. He currently resides in 'Elvis', his notorious Isuzu Trooper and was last seen driving somewhere in the Northwest.
